When your provider requests a referral for you, the following processes are involved to complete your referral:

 1.  Our referral department is notified of the referral request and gathers your demographic data, insurance information and doctors' notes and will verify your insurance and take care of any prior authorizations that need to be done.  They then put all of the data into our CATALYST system (our referral network) for processing.

2.  CATALYST forwards the request to the referral physician's office.  You should receive a phone call from the specialist's office to confirm your appointment.
